Bells of the Bluffs
On the second Sunday of Easter - April 27, 2025, we led a service continuing the Easter celebration. This was done not only to celebrate Easter but to say thank you to First Lutheran Church, Red Wing for their willingness to allow us to use the space for our rehearsals and concerts. (The service included all the elements of worship which have been removed for the length of this video.)
We performed a concert at the Hastings Arts Center in March to a very enthusiastic audience. Besides the bells we had additional musicians playing with us. This video is "For Good" by Sandra Eithun from Wicked sung by Kayla McGrady and Gloria Solsaa.
We were invited to be the Showcase Ensemble for the Handbell Musicians of America Area 7 Festival that was held in LaCrosse, Wis. in June, 2024. We played a full concert and had a fantastic audience. This selection is one of our Christmas favorites.
We have performed at the Red Wing Band Shell which was quite the experience. We also have made a few music videos which was quite the challenge. This selection is from The Greatest Show.
We were invited to play for a worship service at Christ Episcopal, Red Wing. In the afternoon, we gave a short concert of our popular music. This is some concert excerpts from that event.
Sometimes we take it to the streets of Red Wing for their annual Fall Festival. Light hearted and fun to do unless it is raining or too hot!
